As a grassroots leader over the last 13 years in Kansas, there is only 1 choice for me to stand behind for Governor in the Kansas primary
I am proud to officially endorse Ty Masterson for Kansas Governor.
I have worked with Ty for more than 13 years in the Kansas Legislature, and I can say without hesitation that Convention of States would not have passed in Kansas without him.
Ty was with me from the very beginning. When I brought him my plan to address the unconstitutional supermajority problem that existed in Kansas, he understood the complexity of the issue immediately. More importantly, he was willing to stand up, take the heat, and do the hard work necessary to solve it.1
That is who Ty Masterson is.
He has never been a career politician. He has always kept the heart of the grassroots in mind. He understands that getting things done in Topeka takes more than speeches and slogans — it takes courage, strategy, relationships, and a willingness to fight when it matters.
During Laura Kelly’s lockdowns, Ty was my champion inside the Capitol2 while I was outside organizing rallies and fighting through the Open Up Kansas movement. He stood with the people when it mattered most.
This endorsement is not meant as a slight against every other candidate in the race. There are good conservatives who care deeply about Kansas. But I do believe conservatives must be honest about the record and who have the battle scars and experience in getting things done for real Kansans.
For years, I have been engaged as a grassroots conservative fighting for Term Limits on Congress, the Convention of States, Second Amendment battles, and preserving the Right to Life. On too many of those battles, Vicki Schmidt has been on the other side while Ty Masterson was side by side with the grassroots.
Kansas conservatives cannot afford to divide, wait, or hope things work out later. We must rally now behind the candidate who can bring conservatives together, win this race, and lead Kansas in the right direction.
I know Ty Masterson is that man.
Ty Masterson is a grassroots warrior. He has earned my trust, my respect, and my full support.
