Yet, my property taxes are almost $5000. They are going to 'spend' us into not being able to afford to live. What is going on? Is there no end to the run-away spending?
Your story is very similar to many that I have heard. My own mother’s property tax has doubled in the last 5 years, mostly due to property evaluations. The county leaders must be held accountable for their spending.
Live in Atchison Ks. They increase the Value of our homes, thus taxes increase. Without house improvement , the value goes up, so taxes increase!!
Bottom line is the county spending. Those county leaders must be held accountable for their budgets.
