We pride ourselves on being principled—defenders of freedom, limited government, and the Constitution. Yet, when it comes time to choose our leaders, it seems we have short memories. We quickly forget the transgressions of those who’ve betrayed our trust, only to support them once again because they have a familiar name or seem like decent folks.

Let’s not forget what we’ve endured over the past few years. Our schools were locked down, our businesses were shuttered, and our livelihoods were jeopardized. And who was responsible? It wasn’t some faceless bureaucracy—it was our own leaders, the people we elected to stand up for us. They raised our taxes, forced mandates on our children, and stripped away our freedoms, all under the guise of “public safety.” Yet, when election season comes around, many of us push those memories aside.

Thanks for reading Dave 4 Kansas! Is it because these individuals have deep roots in our communities or because they present themselves as good people? We say we want warriors—leaders who will fight relentlessly for our values—but when the time comes to vote, we often settle for the "go along to get along" good old boys, the ones who won’t stir the waters but also won’t champion our cause.

There’s another reason we fall into this trap: fear. In small, close-knit communities, speaking out can be risky. Many still hesitate to voice their concerns about those who pushed for lockdowns and mandates, worried that doing so might get them branded as extremists or ostracized. In our small towns, where everyone knows everyone, being labeled as an outcast can feel like a heavy burden. The fear of social isolation keeps too many people silent, even when they know their principles are being compromised.

But we can’t let fear dictate our choices. Silence and lack of participation, is acceptance. We must remember the lockdowns, the mandates, the tax hikes, and the erosion of our freedoms. And we must recognize that our values are worth more than social acceptance or a friendly smile. If we want true warriors—leaders who will stand up for us without wavering—we need to stop settling for anything less.

I will continue on in my quest to push for conservative issues, even though I will not be doing it from an elected position in Topeka. I thank you for being here and reading this blog, please know it will continue on with updates on issues that matter to the entire state.

Thanks for reading Dave 4 Kansas! One candidate, Mike Argabright, has shown a troubling pattern of flip-flopping on key conservative issues and is seemingly backed by a dark money group, the Flint Hill Opportunity Institute, which is pouring tens of thousands of dollars into the race. It's time to expose the truth about the Dark Money RINO in this race.

Thanks for reading Dave 4 Kansas! Initially, he claimed to be pro-life, with exceptions that include not getting between a mother and her doctor’s decision and a “no” on the Value Them Both effort. To those of us in the pro-life movement, that is pro-abortion. His newest mailer now claims he is 100% pro-life. True commitment to protecting the unborn is non-negotiable, and Argabright's wobbly stance is deeply concerning. With his first statement recorded just three weeks ago, it is likely his true personal position. A flip flop to try and gain votes to get elected.

Pro-Trump Support: Argabright’s support for President Trump has been inconsistent. While he may claim to back Trump now, his past statements and actions tell a different story. Again, just three weeks ago, he was recorded as not yet making up his mind on Trump despite Trump facing his third election, being the President for four years, and the GOP nominee at the time. Flip-flopping on support for Trump suggests a lack of genuine commitment and a realization of where the party is in support of its nominee. Again, a flip flop to gain votes to get elected.

The Influence of Dark Money

Argabright’s campaign is heavily supported by the Flint Hill Opportunity Institute, a dark money group spending tens of thousands of dollars on mailers to get him elected. This raises several red flags:

Lack of Transparency: Dark money groups operate without disclosing their donors, leaving voters in the dark about who is really backing Argabright and what their true intentions are. There is an organization with a similar name in California with offshoots in locations across the country named the Opportunity Institute. Their board members include leftist California Governor, Gavin Newsome’s Chief of Staff, Robert Reisch, and a few U. C. Berkley professors. That organization is committed to bringing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) into schools nationwide.

Outsider Influence: The significant financial backing from this group suggests that Argabright is not accountable to the voters, but to outside interests looking to influence our local politics. The Flint Hills Opportunity Institute has sent no less than four full sized mailers, district wide and is fully engaged in electioneering to manipulate your vote.

Misinformation Campaigns: Your mailboxes have been flooded with poster-sized mailers filled with distortions and lies, propping up Argabright. These efforts are designed to deceive and manipulate voters, undermining the democratic process. One mailer said he is a “farmer”, when in reality, he has been a school superintendent for the past 17 years with a final salary in excess of $160K/year. Not too many farmers that have a day job paying that well.

The True Conservative Choice

In contrast, my commitment to conservative values has never wavered:

Pro-Trump: I have consistently supported President Trump and his America First policies.

Pro-Life: My dedication to protecting the unborn is unwavering.

Pro-Veterans/Military: As a staunch advocate for veterans and military families, I understand and address their unique challenges.

Pro-Teacher: I support our educators and believe in empowering them to provide the best education for our children.

Pro-Rural Property Rights: I defend the rights of rural property owners against overreach and excessive regulation.

Standing Up Against Mandates

During the pandemic, I fought against mask and vaccination mandates and other draconian measures that infringed on our freedoms. I stood by business owners, like Amanda Son, helping them navigate the lockdowns and keep their livelihoods intact. My record shows a consistent commitment to defending your rights and standing up to government overreach.

The Choice is Clear

Mike Argabright’s flip-flopping on key issues and reliance on dark money expose him as a Dark Money RINO, unfit to represent our conservative values in the Flint Hills. My track record of unwavering support for core conservative principles and my proven leadership in fighting for our community make me the true conservative choice in this race.

On Tuesday, make your voice heard. Vote for a candidate who stands firm on conservative values and rejects the influence of dark money. Help me stand up to the Dark Money RINO, and Vote David Schneider for Kansas State Senate.

Thanks for reading Dave 4 Kansas! This is why it's crucial to examine the decisions and affiliations of those who seek to represent us. My opponent, Dr. Mike Aragabright, has a track record that deserves scrutiny, especially regarding his advocacy for electric school buses during his tenure as a school superintendent.

The Misguided Push for Electric Buses

Dr. Mike Aragabright has been a vocal proponent of electric school buses, a move heavily influenced by the Green New Deal policies pushed by the Biden-Harris administration and their ally, Democrat Governor Laura Kelly. While these initiatives are sold as environmentally friendly, the reality is they make zero sense economically or practically for our rural communities.

Thanks for reading Dave 4 Kansas! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.

Economic Nonsense

Let’s talk numbers. An electric school bus costs around $400,000—nearly four times the price of a conventional diesel bus. In a district already facing budget constraints, this kind of spending is reckless. It’s an unnecessary financial burden on our taxpayers, with little to no return on investment. Even with Biden/Harris cash flowing into the district to subsidize this program, this is not just bad policy; it’s economic nonsense.

Practical Failures

Here in rural Kansas, we face unique challenges that electric buses simply can't meet:

Limited Range: Electric buses have a very limited range before needing to be recharged. Our bus routes are extensive, and this limitation is a serious hurdle that risks leaving our kids stranded. There is no way these new buses could be used for out of town activities, like sporting event travel, like most newer buses are used for now.

Harsh Weather: Rural Kansas winters are brutal. Our dirt roads become treacherous during heavy rain or snow. Imagine our kids stuck on an electric bus in freezing temperatures, with the battery running out and no heat. This is a nightmare scenario that we must avoid.

Infrastructure Issues: Charging stations are expensive. The school district has already had to spend $80,000 on just the charging stations, in anticipation of the yet to be delivered first school bus. The cost and logistics of installing this infrastructure add yet another layer of impracticality to Dr. Aragabright's plan.

Political Agendas Over Practical Solutions

Dr. Aragabright's push for electric buses is not about serving our community's needs—it's about aligning with a political agenda. His close ties to Governor Laura Kelly and the radical policies of the Green New Deal show where his priorities lie. These urban-centric policies do not account for the realities of rural life.

Real Conservative Solutions

As your candidate for the Kansas State Senate, I offer a different vision. I am committed to practical, fiscally responsible solutions that respect our way of life and our hard-earned dollars. I understand the challenges we face because I live them every day. From navigating muddy roads to ensuring our children's safety, I am dedicated to finding real solutions that work for us.

Standing With Trump, Standing With You

Unlike my opponent, I stand with President Trump in putting America first. I believe in policies that strengthen our economy, respect our freedoms, and support our communities. Dr. Aragabright's push for electric school buses is a glaring example of the disconnect between his priorities and the needs of our district.

The Clear Choice

In this election, the choice is clear. We need a representative who understands our community and will fight for practical, economically sound policies. Dr. Aragabright's record of pushing impractical initiatives is a risk we cannot afford to take in the Flint Hills.

Vote David Schneider for Kansas State Senate. Let's bring common sense and conservative values back to Topeka. Early voting has already begun at your local courthouse. Next Tuesday, August 6th is the primary!

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" Kelly. My efforts were aimed at ensuring that businesses, churches, and events could continue to operate safely, preserving jobs and supporting our local economy.

In stark contrast, my opponent, who was a school superintendent at the time, chose to close his schools, enforce mask mandates on students, and shift to remote learning. While I was on the ground, working tirelessly to support business owners and protect their rights, my opponent was collecting his sizable government paycheck from home, disengaged from the struggles of everyday Kansans.

<picture></picture>

<g>

</g><polyline points="15 3 21 3 21 9"></polyline><polyline points="9 21 3 21 3 15"></polyline><line x1="21" x2="14" y1="3" y2="10"></line><line x1="3" x2="10" y1="21" y2="14"></line>

Gov. His actions reflect a lack of understanding and a disconnect from the real challenges faced by our community.

A Commitment to Conservative Values

My efforts during the pandemic were guided by a commitment to conservative values—supporting small businesses, protecting individual freedoms, and opposing government overreach. These values stand in stark contrast to my opponent’s record of expanding government control and limiting personal choice.

Moving Forward Together

The choice in this election is clear. We need a representative who understands the struggles of small business owners, who has proven their commitment to standing up for our community, and who will fight against government overreach. I am that representative.

With your support, I will continue to advocate for policies that protect our rights, support our local economy, and ensure that government works for the people—not the other way around. Let’s build a future where businesses can thrive, where our children receive the education they deserve, and where individual freedoms are respected.

Vote David Schneider for Kansas State Senate. effectively serve our community. Over the past decade, I have worked tirelessly in 14 different state legislatures, successfully passing legislation in six states, including our own Kansas. Whether it's advocating for term limits, fiscal responsibility, or protecting individual freedoms, I have been at the forefront of these critical issues.

Inside knowledge: Since 2013, I have been a registered lobbyist in Kansas, working on the ground to influence policy and working with legislative leadership to move initiatives forward. This role has given me a deep understanding of the legislative process and the relationships needed to drive effective change.

Understanding How Things Get Done

My extensive experience has taught me the importance of understanding both the formal procedures and the informal dynamics that drive legislative success. Here’s how my background uniquely positions me to serve our community:

Building Relationships: Effective legislation requires strong relationships with fellow lawmakers, stakeholders, and community members. Over the years, I have cultivated these relationships, allowing me to advocate effectively for our community’s needs.

Strategic Advocacy: Understanding the intricacies of the legislative process is crucial for successful advocacy. My experience has provided me with the strategic know-how to navigate committees, floor debates, and negotiations to ensure that our voices are heard and our priorities are addressed.

Grassroots Mobilization: One of the keys to my success has been the ability to mobilize grassroots support. Engaging and empowering citizens to participate in the legislative process has been a cornerstone of my approach, ensuring that the policies we advocate for have broad-based support.

Ready to Serve Our Community

I am ready to bring my legislative experience to the Kansas State Senate to help our communities thrive. My understanding of the legislative process, combined with a proven track record of success, uniquely positions me to be an effective advocate for our district.

Here are some of the key areas I am committed to focusing on:

Economic Growth: Promoting policies that support small businesses and create jobs, ensuring that our local economy remains strong and resilient.

Education: Advocating for educational policies that prioritize students' needs and provide them with the best opportunities for success.

Individual Freedoms: Protecting the rights and freedoms of our citizens, standing against government overreach, and ensuring that our constitutional rights are upheld.

Fiscal Responsibility: Promoting responsible budgeting and spending practices to ensure that our state’s finances are managed wisely and sustainably.

Join Me in Making a Difference

Our community deserves a representative who understands the legislative process, has a proven track record of success, and is committed to conservative values. Committee (PAC). This endorsement is a testament to my unwavering commitment to protecting the sanctity of life and advocating for the rights of the unborn.

As a pro-life advocate, I am dedicated to fight for the rights of unborn babies and educating individuals on the importance of natural rights. The belief that every life is precious and deserves protection is at the core of my values. The most sacred right we possess is the right to life, and it is a right that I will continue to defend passionately.

A Lifelong Commitment to Life

From the beginning of my career, I have been a staunch supporter of pro-life policies. My commitment to this cause is not just a political stance but a deeply held belief that every life has inherent value. The endorsement from Kansans for Life PAC reinforces my dedication to this vital issue and strengthens my resolve to continue the fight for the most vulnerable among us.

Protecting Natural Rights

The principle that your rights end where another's rights begin is fundamental to a just society. Nowhere is this principle more critical than in the context of the right to life. Unborn children, who cannot speak for themselves, depend on us to protect their fundamental rights. As a State Senator, I will continue to champion policies that uphold the sanctity of life and protect the rights of the unborn.

Educating and Advocating

Education is a powerful tool in the fight for life. By informing and educating individuals about natural rights and the importance of protecting life, we can foster a culture that values and respects every human being. I am committed to continuing this educational mission and advocating for pro-life policies that reflect our shared values.

A Call to Action

Receiving the endorsement of Kansans for Life PAC is a significant milestone in my campaign, but the work is far from over. I need your support to continue this critical fight. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that the right to life is protected for all, born and unborn.

Join Me in the Fight for Life

I invite you to join me in this crucial battle to protect the most vulnerable members of our society. Your support, whether through donation, spreading the word, or voting, is essential in making a lasting impact. Let us stand together to uphold the sanctity of life and ensure that every child has the opportunity to live and thrive.

Thank you, Kansans for Life PAC, for your endorsement and for standing with me in the fight for life. Together, we can create a future where every life is valued and protected.

Vote David Schneider for Kansas State Senate, and let’s continue to stand up for life.

Sincerely,

David Schneider

A Clear Choice for State Senate District 17: David Schneider vs. the Establishment

As a proven fighter in the Kansas legislature, it is clear the establishment does not want roadblocks in ushering in more big government programs and crony-capitalism

David P Schneider

As the primary election approaches, the voters of Kansas State Senate District 17 have a crucial decision to make. The choice between David Schneider and his opponent is not just a matter of policy differences but a fundamental contrast in understanding, experience, and commitment to conservative values.

Understanding and Upholding the GOP Platform

David Schneider has a deep and comprehensive understanding of the Kansas GOP platform. For over a decade, he has fought tirelessly in the Kansas legislature, leveraging grassroots pressure to ensure that good bills were passed and bad ones were defeated. His opponent, however, lacks this foundational knowledge and fails to grasp what the party stands for.

A Proven Record of Conservative Advocacy

David Schneider’s decade-long record of supporting conservative efforts across the state is unmatched. He has been a staunch defender of 2nd Amendment rights and an unwavering protector of the unborn. In stark contrast, his opponent has spent his entire career as a government employee, advocating for more government intervention and increased spending.

Real-World Business Experience vs. Government Dependence

As a local business owner, David Schneider understands the challenges faced by everyday Kansans. He experiences the same struggles, such as paying fuel expenses from his daily insurance inspections. Meanwhile, his opponent, a state employee retiree, is looking to double dip into his multimillion-dollar government pension. This significant difference highlights who is truly in touch with the needs of the community.

Leadership in the Convention of States

David Schneider has spent ten years advocating in state legislatures to pass the Convention of States, successfully engaging with grassroots movements to enact legislation in six different states. His opponent, however, opposes the Convention of States, further distancing himself from the grassroots efforts that reflect the will of the people.

Standing Up During the Pandemic

During the pandemic, David Schneider fought valiantly to keep schools, churches, and small businesses open and free from mandates. His opponent, on the other hand, chose to close schools, mask children, and force remote learning, demonstrating a clear disregard for personal freedoms and local business health.

True Conservative Values

David Schneider embodies true conservative values. He doesn’t need to qualify or explain his conservatism—it’s evident in his actions and his record. His opponent, however, constantly needs to explain and justify his conservative credentials, raising questions about his true commitment to these principles.

A Historic Choice for Flint Hills

For the first time in over 14 years, voters in this district have a choice in the Republican primary. It’s an opportunity to elect a true Republican who stands for the principles of the GOP and the values of the community. Early voting starts on July 17th, with the primary on August 6th.

Call to Action

We cannot allow Governor "Lockdown" Laura Kelly to influence the selection of our Republican nominee. It’s time for a change, and David Schneider is the candidate who will represent the true conservative voice of the Flint Hills in Topeka. Spread the word to your friends and neighbors—vote for David Schneider and let him stand for your principles in the Kansas Senate.

Vote David Schneider for Kansas State Senate District 17. Your voice matters, and together, we can make a difference.

I Will Fight For You

The establishment know it, and that is why they are not supporting me

David P Schneider

Dear Supporters,

Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to leveraging state power to bypass Congress and implement crucial reforms such as term limits, fiscal responsibility, and a smaller federal government. My work has taken me to 14 different state capitol buildings, where I've been actively involved in drafting and passing legislation. Through this experience, I've gained a deep understanding of the divisions within the Republican Party, including right here in Kansas.

As a lifelong Republican, I've been disheartened by the elitist mentality that pervades the leadership of our party. Many have left the party to register as independents out of frustration. For me, that's never been an option. I've always believed that the only way to have a say in the primary system is to remain registered with a party. Otherwise, you lose your voice in the process.

The frustration we've felt in the past is resurfacing in the current primary cycle in Kansas. There is a faction of elitist Republicans who believe they alone have the right to choose candidates, often selecting individuals who do not align with the GOP platform or understand the resistance to core Republican ideals.

<picture></picture>

<g>

</g><polyline points="15 3 21 3 21 9"></polyline><polyline points="9 21 3 21 3 15"></polyline><line x1="21" x2="14" y1="3" y2="10"></line><line x1="3" x2="10" y1="21" y2="14"></line>

Let's be clear: I will never be the establishment's choice, and for a good reason. They know that my proven track record of fighting against COVID mandates through the organization I founded, "Open Up Kansas," means I cannot be controlled. I stood firm against the big corporations pushing for greater restrictions on our freedoms and liberties. I confronted powerful lobbyists in Topeka and amplified the voices of tens of thousands of Kansans, and together, WE THE PEOPLE prevailed.

My entire career has been dedicated to doing what is right. The Constitution is our guide, and we must remember that our rights do not come from the government. The role of government is to serve the people and protect their rights from those who seek to exploit them for personal gain.

I promise to be transparent with all my positions and to honestly tell you when I have not yet formed an opinion. I challenge you to ask tough questions and ensure that the candidates you support share your values.

In my race, my opponent has admitted he was handpicked by "important people that called him" and has received the endorsement of the Kansas Chamber of Commerce. Despite this, he has spent his career as a government employee, while I have never worked for the government. I am a business owner, a former business banker, a current Chamber member, and I have significant legislative experience.

My point is this: until WE THE PEOPLE wake up and say enough is enough, this will continue. My race is not the only one where this is happening, and in the coming weeks, I will highlight some great conservatives running for office across the state.

In the meantime, please support me in my race for the Kansas Senate. It will take substantial resources to ensure our message reaches voters and is not drowned out by big money donors seeking to control the Kansas Flint Hills' resources. Even if you are not in my district, my race is pivotal to the balance of power in the Kansas Senate. Any support you can provide will make a difference, and no amount is too small.

Donations to the campaign can be made online or sent to:

Committee to Elect David Schneider
8624 Quarry Rd
Milford, KS 66514

God bless!

Dave

P.S. For over a decade, Senate District 17 (covering Lyon, Geary, and Morris Counties) hasn't had a primary election, leaving us with only one Republican candidate each cycle. But this year, with the incumbent stepping aside and naming his preferred successor, we have a primary because I chose to stand!

Let’s be clear: my handpicked opponent has the full support of the Republican establishment, aiming to continue their "big government solutions" in the Sunflower State. With her latest veto on the bipartisan tax plan passed overwhelmingly by the Kansas legislature, it is evident she does not want to bring much-needed relief to families struggling to pay for their groceries during these times of skyrocketing inflation. Coupled with her party’s insistence on more government control of our lives and growing government as a solution to everything, I find myself knowing I cannot just exit the stage in my political work.

I have been receiving many phone calls over the last month encouraging me to run for elected office. There is much unfinished business to take care of, and I cannot sit and watch the Governor handpick the Republican that will represent me in Topeka. I have stood up to the Governor before, and I am ready to do it again.

I choose to stand, but this will not be an easy fight to win. There will be a primary, and the handpicked candidate to shepherd in the Governor’s agenda is well-funded and is getting the backing from the elitists ready to shove their ideals and socialism expansion plans into high gear. I am still floored by how many remember my efforts during the pandemic with my group, Open Up KS, which was the largest conservative Kansas group until Facebook took it down. We coordinated rallies in Topeka and provided valuable information during a time of much misinformation.

The work at the Convention of States is unfinished. Kansas has not yet signed up. Despite personally shepherding six other neighboring states through the legislative process, Kansas has not joined due to various reasons, most notably the supermajority threshold needed to pass. If we are ever to have term limits on Congress or other meaningful reforms on the power in Washington, D.C., it will most certainly have to come from the states through Article V of the Constitution. There is zero possibility that Congress will ever reform itself, no matter if I go there myself and launch into the effort.

The real meaningful work is at the state capitols. This is where the policies that most affect your family and your lives are debated and decided. This is by design, as the power should be as close to the people in a Republic.

I want to be clear: I have not filed to run for any office, nor have I said I will file for office. I have not spent any money putting this page together, and if you have received this email, we have personally interacted over the last 11 years through my efforts to bring about meaningful legislative changes in Kansas. I have not purchased your email. I ask that you do not unsubscribe from this email, and I promise to keep you in the loop about what is actually going on in Kansas.

As this is Memorial Day weekend, I will be in deep prayer, thinking about sacrifice and service to this amazing country. Cecilia and I ask you to do the same as we ponder how we can serve Kansas next.

I would love to hear from you at Dave4KS@pm.me on your thoughts.
